Welcome to the travel blog of Cherrie and Christine. We plan (hope) to regularly update this for those of you who are interested. We head off on Tuesday and thanks to the complexities of frequent flyer travel with Qantas we fly Sydney/Melbourne/Dubai/Seattle/Fairbanks (Alaska)! We arrive in Dubai as the sparrows are breaking wind on Wednesday and have organised a day tour of the city. We will overnight in Dubai and then fly to Seattle and connect with Alaska Airlines into Fairbanks. Again with the sparrows we head off on Thursday morning for a 9 hour drive into the Arctic Circle. Let the adventure begin
